The Far Eastern Fells – Map Two.

These rare rolled maps were produced by Chop McKean for Michael Joseph in the mid-1990s and printed on high-quality glossy ivory stock that is no longer manufactured.

They were originally acquired by Derek Walker, a well-known northern England book rep who knew Alfred Wainwright. He obtained them 25 years ago.

These are his genuine originals, sourced directly from his estate after his death.

Only a limited number were ever produced in rolled format, and surviving sets are extremely rare.

Each map will be carefully rolled and posted in a strong protective tube.
