Yorkshire folk musician Johnny Campbell and Alfred Wainwright archivist Chris Butterfield join forces for a double-headline show celebrating all things Northern. Earlier in the year Johnny completed his Pennine Way Tour, walking the 268-mile route in 19 days with 17 shows en route, becoming the first person ever to tour the Pennine Way in this unique fashion. He will share stories from the journey and perform songs from his latest field recording album, True North.

Chris delves deep into the life and legacy of Alfred Wainwright, author of the iconic Pictorial Guides to the Lakeland Fells. Having devoted the last decade to collecting and archiving Wainwright’s work, Chris is widely regarded as one of the foremost authorities on his life and writings. His new Wainwright exhibition co-curated with The Armitt in Ambleside runs until the 20th December 2025. He has also overseen the revival of the Pictorial Guides with the release of an exclusive 70th Anniversary hardback box set.
