Alfred Wainwright Bronze Resin Sculpture.

    £490.00

Clive Barnard is a skilled sculptor, and in the 1980s, he produced a lifesize bronze bust of Alfred Wainwright, which now resides in Kendal Museum. Clive also created several bronze and bronze resin sculptures of Wainwright. These sculptures were Wainwright’s idea, and he gave Clive sole rights to produce them. These sculptures have not been made for decades, but with the increasing interest in Alfred Wainwright, I approached Clive and asked him if creating a new solid bronze sculpture was possible. Although Clive had been long retired, he was delighted with my proposal.

This new sculpture was recently produced in solid bronze, and it has now been made for the first time in bronze resin and stands a little taller than the solid bronze variant.

This brand-new bronze resin Wainwright sculpture will be made to order as a limited edition of 100 and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity. It will be fixed to an attractive solid oak base with a nameplate on the top (the square base has recently been upgraded to an oval base).

The size, including the base, is 11.5″ x 6″ x 10″. These will be the final bronze resin sculptures ever produced by Clive. They will never lose value and should be considered an investment.

The total cost will be £490 (£460 without the base). The production lead time for the sculpture will be up to 2 weeks, and it can be shipped worldwide. Clive can also hand it over in person.
